[W]ell, its been a while since i was here, but I figured it would be a good idea to check if there was an update to WordPress – Lo! There was!
This time however, i noticed something that was preventing the auto-update feature – This install was still running on PHP4 rather than PHP5. One quick edit to the .htaccess file later (Adding “AddType x-mapp-php5 .php” to it) and the auto update works like a charm! Hurrah!
